The new Labor Law, approved on March 23, 2015 by the Council of Ministers, aims at regulating the labor market and enhancing its effectiveness. It ensures and develops the national economic growth as it came into force on Oct. 18, 2015,
The new amendments take into consideration the interests of employer and worker, in addition to serve the interest of the private sector's facilities and, at the same time, protect the worker's rights.
The Law defines professional and precise roles between the Ministry of Labor and its affiliating entities and customers. It reflects positivity on the future of labor market and increases Saudization by providing job opportunities for the national manpower, enhancing their participation in the labor market in the light of productive, safe and stable work environment.
